How to display a block based on days since an order was placed

What you will achieve in this guide

Follow the feature-specific setup and testing instructions below. Check the supported pages and plan requirements before activating the feature.

EXPECTED SETUP TIME Varies by feature
COMPATIBILITY See requirements in this guide
TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY Zero Code Required

Use the supported Days since order condition on a Thank you or Order status block.

When to use this guide

Use this for time-relevant information on completed orders rather than pre-purchase checkout.

Before you begin

Use a test customer and order that you can identify. Confirm the feature is active, placed on a supported page, and included in your Rivio plan.

Worked example

Show a product-care reminder after a chosen number of days using the supported comparison operator.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Choose a block whose card supports the intended Thank you or Order status page.
  2. Add the care message and open its display conditions.
  3. Select Days since order, choose the supported operator, and enter an example threshold such as 7. Record the exact comparison.
  4. Save the active block and matching page placement.
  5. Test an order below the threshold and an older order above it using their actual order dates.
  6. Check the boundary behaviour separately; do not infer calendar-day or exact-hour rounding from the numeric label.

Verify the result

Test Expected result or check

Limitations

  • Days since order is supported only on Thank you and Order status.
  • Do not promise an exact time cutoff without verifying the implementation.
