Does Rivio Checkout Customizer Work with Shopify Markets?
What you will achieve in this guide
Follow the feature-specific setup and testing instructions below. Check the supported pages and plan requirements before activating the feature.
Rivio supports Market-based display conditions and bundle multi-currency scenarios. Test each feature in the intended resolved Market; country, language, and currency alone are not the same as a Market identifier.
How this feature works
Identify the affected feature and customer surface before changing settings. Function-based rules need activation and matching inputs; visual features also need a saved editor placement. Branding needs the correct configuration. Change one setting at a time and repeat the same test to see which change solves the issue.
Before you begin
Open Apps > Rivio Checkout Customizer in the intended store. Prepare the cart, customer, products, address, or order needed by the example, and check the feature’s supported inputs before activating it.
Worked example: Test the actual feature in each Shopify Market
Example setup: Two configured markets and a supported Market-conditioned banner.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the banner’s display conditions and choose the first actual Shopify Market value.
Save as Active and ensure the banner is placed on its supported page.
Start a shopper session resolved to that market and confirm the banner result.
Repeat in the second market with otherwise comparable customer/cart context.
If demonstrating a bundle, follow the bundle multi-currency guide and record component expansion and totals separately.
If demonstrating a monetary rule, confirm its own currency and amount basis rather than assuming Market support means every number converts.
Verify the result
| Test case | Expected result or verification |
|---|---|
| Selected market | The supported Market condition matches. |
| Other market | The selected-market banner is hidden. |
| Currency/language changed alone | Verify the resolved Market as well. |
If the result is different
| Check | What it means / what to do |
|---|---|
| Function-based rule is ineffective | Check activation, exact scope, conditions, and test inputs. |
| Visual block is missing | Check saved Active configuration, supported surface, and editor placement. |
| Problem remains after one correction | Gather the actual customer result, relevant settings, and repeatable cart/order details for support. |
