Understanding the Rivio Checkout Customizer Dashboard
What you will achieve in this guide
Follow the feature-specific setup and testing instructions below. Check the supported pages and plan requirements before activating the feature.
Use the dashboard to track setup progress and current activity. A configured-block counter measures saved setup, not proof that every buyer sees that block.
How this feature works
Rivio separates function-based rules, visual blocks, offers, account features, and branding. Choose the feature that solves your immediate goal. Configure it in Rivio, complete its activation or editor-placement requirement, then test a matching and a non-matching customer case before combining it with other features.
Before you begin
Open Apps > Rivio Checkout Customizer in the intended store. Prepare the cart, customer, products, address, or order needed by the example, and check the feature’s supported inputs before activating it.
Worked example: Read setup status without confusing it with customer visibility
Example setup: One saved banner configuration; optionally one active payment rule.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the Rivio dashboard or Getting started page and record Blocks configured, Active rules, and the displayed plan context.
Save a banner configuration in Rivio and return to the dashboard to review configured status.
Place the banner on its supported page in Shopify’s editor and save that editor separately.
Open the customer page and confirm the actual result; a setup counter alone does not prove visibility.
For sales figures, open Analytics and select the intended range before comparing with the dashboard period.
Verify the result
| Test case | Expected result or verification |
|---|---|
| Configured banner without placement | Saved configuration exists but the customer page can still show no banner. |
| Placed active banner with matching conditions | The customer page displays the content. |
| Analytics Last 30 days versus dashboard This month | Different date ranges can produce different totals. |
If the result is different
| Check | What it means / what to do |
|---|---|
| Cannot find a feature | Check the current Shopify plan and the feature’s supported page labels. |
| Saved setup has no customer result | Complete the feature’s activation or supported editor-placement step. |
| Several features interact unexpectedly | Test one at a time, then repeat the combined customer flow with the same cart/customer context. |
