How to Connect MailerLite
What you will achieve in this guide
Follow this step-by-step documentation to configure custom B2B registration forms, approval workflows, and customer tagging.
Connect MailerLite to Shopify registration forms so applicant information can reach your email-marketing workflow.
Before you begin
Use the intended service account and select the destination list, channel, spreadsheet tab, or endpoint. Decide whether you are testing a new-submission event or an approval event, and use a clearly identifiable test application.
Subscriber creation and optional grouping
MailerLite receives the applicant as a subscriber, optionally placed in the configured group. Choose the intended destination and ensure the form collects a valid applicant email.
Check the subscriber record and group independently. A created subscriber does not demonstrate that your external campaign is configured, and the integration does not replace your merchant decisions about consent and follow-up.
Set up this workflow
Open Integrations and select MailerLite.
Use an authorized MailerLite account to obtain the credentials requested by the app.
Enter the API key or connection credentials in the integration settings.
Set the group destination using its required identifier where applicable.
Save the connection and submit a non-spam test containing an applicant email.
Check MailerLite for the expected subscriber and test a supported approval event if your workflow uses it.
Example
Connect MailerLite and choose a test group if your workflow needs one. Submit an application with a valid controlled email.
Expected result
The subscriber and optional group placement match your configuration.
Limits and important behavior
- Adds the applicant as a subscriber; group assignment is optional.
- The form must provide an email through an Email field or Customer block.
- Review consent and subscription requirements for your marketing workflow.
- Keep integration credentials private; background failures should be investigated without resubmitting approvals blindly.
Troubleshooting and verification
If data does not reach the destination, confirm the application exists and is not Spam, then check the connection, event, and selected destination. Email-marketing services need an applicant email. Background failures do not undo a received submission.
