Choose delivery countries and understand where those selections apply
Configure the countries offered in the popup country selectors.
Before you start
Open Features → COD verification → Verification → Where you deliver in your store. Use the current saved configuration and a controlled test cart. For storefront features, confirm the Rivio theme app embed is enabled on the theme being tested.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open Where you deliver.
- Enable I deliver worldwide to offer every country in the relevant pickers, or turn it off to choose countries.
- When selecting countries, add only the destinations you intend to offer.
- Save.
- Preview the address country selector.
- If using another supported contact method later, separately review its country selector and delivery requirements.
Screenshot to add: Features → COD verification → Verification → Where you deliver — show the relevant settings described above. Hide customer details, contact blocklists and verification codes.
Example and use case
A store serving India and the United States selects those countries and checks the address picker for both.
Limitations and important behaviour
- The displayed help text describes country choices in phone and address pickers; this is not a replacement for Shopify shipping zones or market settings.
- Popup visibility by country is configured separately under Who sees it.
- Do not promise courier coverage solely because a country can be selected.
Test and confirm the result
Compare the popup country list with your actual Shopify shipping destinations using an address in each intended market.
Save configuration changes before testing. A settings preview confirms presentation; inspect the storefront, checkout or Shopify order for the actual outcome described in this guide.
