Why Is My Form Not Appearing on the Storefront?
What you will achieve in this guide
Follow this step-by-step documentation to configure custom B2B registration forms, approval workflows, and customer tagging.
Check form status, the saved slug, and the Shopify theme placement when a Rivio registration form is missing.
Before you begin
Record the affected store, form name, slug, application reference if available, and approximate time. Reproduce the issue once with dummy data and note the exact message before changing settings.
A saved form needs the correct storefront connection
The common causes are inactive status, an incorrect slug, a different page template, or a popup mode waiting for its trigger. Check these before changing questions or rebuilding the form.
Use the actual storefront page, not just the editor preview. Compare the page's assigned template with the one being edited and paste the form's current slug exactly into the Wholesale form block.
Reference and examples
| Symptom | Likely check | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No form in block | Status and slug | Activate the form and paste its exact saved slug. |
| Wrong questions | Block references another form | Replace with the intended form slug. |
| Editor works; page differs | Page template assignment | Edit/save the actual assigned template. |
| No visible inline questions | Popup mode | Use the configured trigger or choose Inline. |
Diagnose and resolve the problem
Open the form and confirm it is Active/published.
Copy its current slug and compare it with the Form slug in the Wholesale form block.
Confirm you are editing the theme and page template used by the intended page.
Check whether the block is Inline or a popup that needs its trigger.
Save both the app and theme changes.
Visit the actual storefront page and test the selected display trigger.
Example
Intentionally enter demo-wholesal instead of demo-wholesale on a test block, then compare with the saved form slug and correct it.
Expected result
The active form loads after the slug and correct page template are saved.
Limits and important behavior
- A form can be published without any storefront block.
- A template can be assigned to a different page than expected.
- A popup form may not be visible until its button, delay, or exit-intent trigger is used.
If you still need help
If the checks do not resolve the issue, contact support@rivioapps.com with the affected form or application reference, time, exact error, and what you already tested. Mask private applicant data and never include API keys or SMTP passwords.
