Understanding the Analytics Dashboard

What you will achieve in this guide

Follow this step-by-step documentation to configure custom B2B registration forms, approval workflows, and customer tagging.

EXPECTED SETUP TIME 5-10 Minutes
COMPATIBILITY All Shopify Themes & Plans
TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY Zero Code Required

Review Shopify registration form views, step progress, submissions, traffic sources, and approval statistics in Rivio Analytics.

Before you begin

Select the form and reporting period you want to inspect. Use a known storefront visit and application as a test, and keep visit, submission, approval, and sales counts separate when interpreting results.

Read different metrics separately

Analytics includes per-form views, multi-step progression, submissions, conversion, traffic sources, review outcomes, and A/B results where data exists. The form and time filter determine the scope of the report.

Views describe tracked storefront activity, submissions describe completed applications, and approval rate describes review outcomes. None is an order or revenue metric. Compare like-for-like selections before deciding that a form change improved performance.

Example

Select Demo Wholesale Application and a 7-day window after generating real storefront test visits and submissions.

Expected result

Views, progression, submissions, and review outcomes are read for the same selected form and period.

Limits and important behavior

  • Tracking runs independently and does not block submissions if it fails.
  • A view is not an application, and approval rate is not form conversion rate.
  • An empty report can mean no tracking data exists for the selected form and range.

Troubleshooting and verification

If figures seem inconsistent, compare the same form and period and confirm that the tested page uses that form’s slug. Tracking can fail without blocking submission, so the inbox and analytics do not have to match exactly.

Screenshots to add
