Find verified and partially paid orders in Shopify

Review verification and payment status as separate pieces of order information.

Before you start

Open Shopify → Orders in your store. Use the current saved configuration and a controlled test cart. For storefront features, confirm the Rivio theme app embed is enabled on the theme being tested.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open Shopify Orders after completing a test checkout.
  2. Search for the configured verification tag, if one was set.
  3. Open the relevant order.
  4. Inspect payment details and the remaining amount due.
  5. Review the order timeline for updates associated with the deposit flow.
  6. Share the actual payment and balance information with fulfilment staff.

Example and use case

An order can be verified and partially paid at the same time. The verification tag describes the contact check; the payment record describes money collected.

Limitations and important behaviour

  • A tag is not proof of payment or delivery.
  • Dashboard counts do not replace an individual order record.
  • Avoid manually marking the remaining balance paid before it has been collected.

Test and confirm the result

Use one known verified deposit order and ensure staff can locate its verification tag and outstanding amount independently.

Save configuration changes before testing. A settings preview confirms presentation; inspect the storefront, checkout or Shopify order for the actual outcome described in this guide.
